Soccer Recap: West Memphis Comes Up Short

West Memphis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 7-1 to the Wynne Yellowjackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to West Memphis of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

West Memphis' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Wynne, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Memphis will head out to take on Batesville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wynne, they will venture away from home to square off against Brookland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Wynne will need to watch out since Brookland have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches.
