Softball Recap: West Bloomfield Lakers vs. North Farmington Raiders
West Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 18-3 to the North Farmington Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-2 on Monday.
ADDY MORRIS made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. NEVAEH NIERADKA also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
West Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for North Farmington, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
Looking ahead, West Bloomfield is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Royal Oak at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Farmington, they will challenge Walled Lake Central at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
