While Lincoln put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Adams. The Lincoln Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Adams Cougars 41-0 on the road. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Tigers just coasted through the last quarter.

Lincoln's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jermirion Robertson, who rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Jastin Hampton was in the mix too, providing Lincoln with two touchdowns.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Lincoln was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 281 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Adams only rushed for 36.

Lincoln wouldn't let Adams keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Lincoln can thank Talon Beachum and Jarmon Trotter Sr for forcing both of them.

The victory got Lincoln back to even at 1-1. As for Adams, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Lincoln will be defending their home-field for the first time this season they go up against Madison at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Lincoln is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season. As for Adams, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against North Mesquite at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
