Volleyball Recap: Gem State Adventist Academy Takes a Loss

Gem State Adventist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Riverstone International Otters. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Otters when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Gem State Adventist Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-11, 25-12.

Gem State Adventist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Riverstone International, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gem State Adventist Academy will square off against Wilder at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Riverstone International, they will challenge Treasure Valley Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
