Delano is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Southwest Christian is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Tigers will challenge the Stars at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Delano is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Southwest Christian also got a great performance from Jack Manion as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Melvin Maldonado, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Southwest Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Southwest Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Delano, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Delano has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Southwest Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
