4A-2 Region I District 3 Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Ty Thompson's Big Game Leads Graham over Bridgeport

Starting off the list is Graham's Ty Thompson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Thompson threw for 339 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per attempt, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Thompson and Graham will square off against Mineral Wells at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Steers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Rams, probably because Thompson had a solid game then too: he threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
