Stratton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They put the hurt on the Cheyenne Wells Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

While Stratton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11, 27-25.

Stratton found their leader in sophomore Kaylynn Brandon, who had three digs and three aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cheyenne Wells fell to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Stratton will be playing at home against Deer Trail at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cheyenne Wells, they will challenge Idalia at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
