Harding fought the good fight in their overtime game against Washington on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 72-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Washington Tigers. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Harding's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-3. As for Washington, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Harding and Washington should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Harding (ranked tenth) will meet Boardman (ranked 190th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Harding will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak dating back to last season alive. Similarly, Washington will challenge Ashland at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday up 215 places (57 vs. 272).
