Soccer Recap: Austin-East Takes a Loss

Austin-East scored the most goals they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 4-1 to the Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes. That's two games in a row now that Austin-East have lost by exactly three goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Mitias Carter, which was the first he's scored this season.

Austin-East is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Morristown-Hamblen East, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Austin-East wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against West on the 25th. As for Morristown-Hamblen East, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Liberty Creek on the 28th.
