Volleyball Recap: Mount St. Mary Victorious

Mount St. Mary won the last time they faced Union and things went their way on Friday too. The Rockets came out on top against the Redhawks by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rockets.

Ella Hale paced Mount St. Mary's offense, picking up nine kills. Hale got some help from Jentri Denwalt and her 24 assists. Hale and Denwalt didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Mount St. Mary's win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Union, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-13.

Mount St. Mary didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Norman on the 26th. Hopefully Union paid attention to the Rockets' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Rockets at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
