Basketball Recap: Clark/Willow Lake Takes a Loss

Clark/Willow Lake suffered their biggest defeat since February 1, 2024 on Saturday. They took a blow against the Lennox Orioles, falling 60-26. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Cyclones' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

This is the second loss in a row for Clark/Willow Lake and nudges their season record down to 9-6. As for Lennox, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Clark/Willow Lake and Lennox should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps South Dakota Rankings. Clark/Willow Lake (ranked 36th) will meet Britton-Hecla (ranked 134th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Lennox will take on Hanson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 70 places (23 vs. 93).
