The Wilmington Greyhounds and the Hopewell Vikings will round out the year against one another at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at. Wilmington is hoping to put an end to a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Thursday, Wilmington came up short against Portersville Christian and fell 35-26. While losing is never fun, Wilmington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 719th, while Portersville Christian is ranked 358th).
Meanwhile, Hopewell suffered a rough 76-53 defeat at the hands of Beaver on Tuesday. Hopewell has struggled against Beaver recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Wilmington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hopewell, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
