Football Recap: Basalt Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Basalt Longhorns came up short against the Teton Timberwolves on Friday and fell 40-28. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Basalt lost, don't look at Will Tarallo. Despite the final result, he rushed for 62 yards and a pair of TDs, and also picked up 69 receiving yards. Tarallo didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended two passes.

Basalt now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Teton, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Basalt will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Delta at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Teton, they will host Snake River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
