Hodgson Vo-Tech came tearing into Tuesday's contest with 11 straight wins dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Delcastle Technical Cougars with a sharp 16-6 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hodgson Vo-Tech pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.1 runs over those games. As for Delcastle Technical, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
