Softball Recap: Lake City Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lake City's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada on Tuesday.

Lake City saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amiya Lewis, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Lake City's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

While Lake City had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
