Football Recap: Covington Catholic Falls Short Against Ranked Elder

Covington Catholic is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Elder. The Colonels took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Colonels in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Covington Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Elder, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
