Softball Recap: Mentor Cardinals vs. South Allegheny Gladiators

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Morgantown, Mentor was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the South Allegheny Gladiators by a score of 11-6.

Aubree Col?n was a standout: she scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Mak Kobetitsch, who went 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and a stolen base.

On South Allegheny's side, Cadence Mcbride was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and a double. Gina Connors was another key contributor, going 1-for-4 with a triple and two RBI.

Even though they lost, South Allegheny was hitting in the corners and finished the game with three triples. That's the most triples they've managed all season.
