Omaha Westside is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Lincoln Southwest to the tune of 93-55 on Saturday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Donnie Barfield was a one-man wrecking crew for Omaha Westside as he went 8 for 10 on his way to 22 points. The dominant performance gave Barfield a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lee Robinson, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 14 points in addition to five assists and three steals.
Omaha Westside was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Papillion-LaVista South unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 62-52 to Papillion-LaVista. The contest marked the Titans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Omaha Westside will need focus on slowing down Reece Kircher, one of several Papillion-LaVista South players who made an impact when they last played. He went 7 for 15 on his way to 18 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Bahl, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Omaha Westside's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.5 points. As for Papillion-LaVista South, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Omaha Westside and Papillion-LaVista South are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Omaha Westside hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 70 points per game. However, it's not like Papillion-LaVista South struggles in that department as they've been averaging 67.9 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Omaha Westside and Papillion-LaVista South were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting two weeks ago, but Omaha Westside came up empty-handed after a 60-59 defeat. Can Omaha Westside avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
