Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kingstree). They blew past the Scott's Branch Eagles 17-1 on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Blazers needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Elisha Singletary made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Singletary was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing six bases while going 3-for-3. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Harmony Mosley, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Narasi Brown was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-3.

Kingstree always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Kingstree's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8.
