Volleyball Recap: Durham Takes a Loss

Durham was the 2-1 winner over Hamilton when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Braves by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the defeat, Durham saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hailey Heyland had 11 digs.

Durham's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Hamilton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Durham will square off against Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton, they will face off against Las Plumas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
