Basketball Recap: Cushing Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

Cushing won the last time they faced Mt. Enterprise and things went their way on Friday too. The Cushing Bearkats rang in the new year with a 45-35 win over the Mt. Enterprise Wildcats.

Cushing is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season. As for Mt. Enterprise, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cushing will venture away from home to challenge Douglass at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Enterprise, they will head out to square off against Overton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
