Brunswick came tearing into Saturday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Grovetown Warriors by a score of 2-0. The Pirates were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Warriors, so the Pirates were just returning the favor.

Ashley Adair paced Brunswick's offense, picking up seven kills. Adair got some help from Kate Small and her 16 assists. Small also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Alina Dent, racking up three apiece.

Brunswick's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Grovetown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
