Soccer Recap: Middleton Gets the Win

Middleton kept a clean sheet against Geneva on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Vikings 1-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Middleton's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked fourth in Wisconsin, while Geneva are ranked 113th in Illinois).

Middleton's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Geneva, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middleton will challenge Janesville Craig at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Geneva, they will take on West Aurora at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
