Clinton waltzed into their contest on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lakewood Leopards. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dark Horses also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-9, 25-16.
Pheonix Everett paced Clinton's offense, picking up 13 kills. Everett got some help from Jenna Jackson and her 21 assists.
Clinton's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Lakewood, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-14.
Clinton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against East Duplin on the 7th. Lakewood has also already played their next match (against East Bladen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
