Basketball Recap: Granville Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Berne Union last Tuesday, Granville Christian Academy came back down to earth. Granville Christian Academy took a 36-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison Christian Eagles. Granville Christian Academy hasn't had much luck with Madison Christian recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Leading Madison Christian to victory were Jasmine Harris and Jadah Harris. Jasmine posted five points along with 15 boards and six blocks, while Jadah earned 14 points. Those six blocks gave Jasmine a new career-high.

Granville Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Madison Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Granville Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madison Christian, they will take on Wellington School in a tournament on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Wellington School sitting on eight straight wins and Madison Christian on five.
