Softball Recap: Auburn Eagles vs. Jefferson Forest Cavaliers
Auburn fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Jefferson Forest on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since April 17, 2024.
McKenzie Booth spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and five unearned) runs on nine hits.
