Tradon Bessinger Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Davis's Tradon Bessinger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Bessinger threw for 405 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per attempt. He's now once again averaging 300+ passing yards (307.5) per game. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Davis' win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Bessinger and Davis will square off against Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Travis Hoopes Delivers Best Effort of Season
Farmington was led to victory by Travis Hoopes, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hoopes rushed for 185 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 47 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Farmington's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. Hoopes will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Davis on Thursday.

Tuatagaloa Posts Huge Game in 28-18 Victory
Manase Tuatagaloa was instrumental in extending Fremont's winning streak to six on Friday. Syracuse had no answer to Tuatagaloa as he threw for 282 yards and three touchdowns while completing 74.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown.
Fremont's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Weber at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will pit Tuatagaloa up against the Warriors' star QB Crew Cacciacarne. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

The second Farmington player making an appearance here is Drew Love, and for good reason. He rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.

Bode Sparrow Turns in Season-Best Effort
Bode Sparrow produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Davis to the win on Friday. Sparrow picked up 146 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 22 yards and a touchdown.
On the year, Sparrow has caught 11 touchdowns while averaging 77.6 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had six receiving touchdowns.
