After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Etiwanda, Temecula Valley was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 99-93 W over the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars. The Golden Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Temecula Valley pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 91.0 points over those games. As for Rancho Cucamonga, they moved to 5-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
