Simsbury entered their tilt with Avon on Friday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Simsbury took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-11, 25-7.

Their offense was headlined by Molly Schuck and Breanna Johns, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Delaney Hallam and her 27 assists. Bella Alvarez controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

When it comes to explaining why Avon lost, don't look at Ainsley Evans. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs.

Simsbury's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Avon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Simsbury wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Bristol Central on the 6th. As for Avon, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Hall on the 6th.
