Softball Recap: Elmore County Comes Up Short

Elmore County and Shelby County squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Elmore County had to settle for second. They fell 6-3 to the Wildcats. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elmore County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lalah Culpepper, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Elmore County's defeat dropped their record down to 21-18. As for Shelby County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-8.

As of now, neither Elmore County nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
