Basketball Recap: O'Connor Gets the Win

Bishop Lynch came into Friday's game looking for another win against O'Connor, but Hagen Hurst wouldn't allow it. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Friars 59-57 for which the team can thank Hurst, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of O'Connor's points.

Another player making a difference was Ethan Bilyeu, who went 5-for-9 en route to 12 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.

O'Connor's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Bishop Lynch, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
