Volleyball Recap: Wheat Ridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wheat Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Green Mountain Rams, falling 3-0. The Farmers were not able to make up for their loss to the Rams from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-7.

Wheat Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Green Mountain, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wheat Ridge will square off against rival Pomona at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Green Mountain is set to challenge their familiar foe Conifer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
