Basketball Recap: Lewiston Comes Up Short

Lewiston and Edward Little squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Lewiston had to settle for second. They took a 49-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edward Little Red Eddies. The Blue Devils' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Lewiston's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Edward Little, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Lewiston will take on Cheverus at 2:45 p.m. on February 20th. Cheverus will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Lewiston surely won't give up without a fight. Edward Little does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
