Basketball Recap: Latexo Takes a Loss

Latexo came up into this matchup off a tough 27-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Normangee Panthers by a score of 51-49 on Monday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 49-32.

Latexo dropped their record down to 12-15 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Normangee, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-19.

Latexo won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Groveton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Normangee, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Groesbeck at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Normangee is facing Groesbeck at the right time seeing as Groesbeck is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
