Baseball Recap: Snyder Sets Scoring Season-High Against Estacado

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Snyder). They came out on top against the Estacado Matadors by a score of 14-10 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Matadors back in March, they had to take a 11-1 loss.

Snyder let Seth Cooper and Callen Green run wild. Cooper went 3-for-5 with two RBI and one double, while Green scored two runs while going 3-for-5. Those three hits gave Cooper a new career-high. Caleb Williams was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI.

Snyder was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Snyder's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12. As for Estacado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13-1 record this season.
