Volleyball Recap: Shelton Bulldogs vs. Silver Lake Mustangs
Shelton entered their tilt with Silver Lake on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Everything went their way against the Silver Lake Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.
Shelton never let Silver Lake on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-23.
Erin Gegg paced Shelton's offense, picking up 16 kills. Gegg got some help from
Parker Lowe and her 19 assists.
Ellie Morgan and
Gracie Willis kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.
Shelton is on a roll lately: they've won 21 of their last 22 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 28-3 record this season. As for Silver Lake, they now have a losing record at 14-15.
