Curry had already won 29 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it 30 on Friday. They didn't even let the Oakman Wildcats on the board, marking their second-straight 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won 21 matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Brooklyn Morton looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in 18 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Curry let Ansley Brown and Kaydence Hutchison run wild. Brown scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3, while Hutchison scored two runs while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave Hutchison a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Teel, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Curry always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oakman only posted an OBP of .143.

Curry pushed their record up to 35-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Oakman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-17.

Curry has already played their next contest, a 10-1 victory against Cordova on the 12th. As for Oakman, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-7 win against Dora on the 11th.
