Basketball Recap: Clinton Central Takes a Loss

Clinton Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carroll Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 419th, while the Cougars are ranked 110th).

Clinton Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Carroll, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Clinton Central will face off against Faith Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th. As for Carroll, they and Tipton will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
