 Webster County typically has all the answers at home, but  on Monday Union County proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Webster County Trojans by a score of  9-5. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Union County.
 Union County got a great performance from  Payton Garrett as he  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits.
 At the plate, Union County saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Waylon Wheatley, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Noah Burgess, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Union County's victory bumped their record up to 10-20. As for Webster County, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 15-11.
 Union County will be playing at home against Hopkins County Central at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Webster County, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Crittenden County at 5:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Crittenden County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5  runs per game  this season.
