Rashad Robinson Goes Supernova in Imperial Win

Rashad Robinson's big game helped extend Imperial's winning streak to eight on Friday. Robinson turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 117 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 74 receiving yards and a touchdown. Robinson is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 117 every time he's taken the field this season.

Robinson and Imperial will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brawley at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th. Robinson will face off against Matthew Moreno, the Wildcats' star rusher. Will the contest be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Imperial Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Deren Hueso

Imperial picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Deren Hueso. Hueso turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 108 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.

Hueso and Imperial will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brawley at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th. Hueso will face off against Sergio Garcia, the Wildcats' star wideout. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Brawley was sadly handed a loss on Thursday, but Matthew Gutierrez did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Gutierrez as he made four total tackles.

The defeat snapped Brawley's winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-1 record. Gutierrez and Brawley will challenge Southwest EC at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Danny Esquivez Turns in Another Game with at Least Five Total Tackles

Imperial picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Danny Esquivez. Esquivez wasn't messing around, picking up a sack and making six total tackles (4.0 for loss). The match was his 11th straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.

This season, Esquivez has averaged 7.2 total tackles per game and for the season has 6 sacks. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two sacks.
