Warren Township entered their tilt with Lake Forest on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Scouts. Considering the Blue Devils have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Warren Township's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Lake Forest, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.

Warren Township will challenge Waukegan at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Lake Forest, they will face off against Highland Park at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
