Basketball Game Preview: Crocker Lions vs. Stoutland Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions duke it out with the Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Crocker easily dispatched Chamois on Monday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Crocker fell just short of Climax Springs by a score of 40-38 on Tuesday. The match marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Stoutland entered their tilt with Newburg on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 72-64 win over the Wolves.

Crocker's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Stoutland, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.

Crocker and Stoutland were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but Crocker came up empty-handed after a 64-63 defeat. Can Crocker avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
