It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Junction City can now relate to. They came up short against the Emporia Spartans on Friday, falling 45-20. The Bluejays have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Junction City's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Emporia, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-14-3 record.

Junction City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Emporia, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-20 victory against Junction City/St. Xavier on the 28th.
