Basketball Recap: Soda Springs Wins Going Away Against West Side

Soda Springs won the last time they faced West Side and things went their way on Friday too. The Soda Springs Cardinals took down the West Side Pirates 50-35. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

West Side's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miley Cundick, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Reese Evans was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals.

Soda Springs' victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for West Side, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-13 record.

Soda Springs will venture away from home to square off against Declo at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Side, they will welcome Malad at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Malad will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something West Side surely won't give up without a fight.
