Softball Recap: Ohio County Has No Trouble Against Todd County Central

After only one run in their last game, Ohio County made sure to put some runs up on the board against Todd County Central on Thursday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Talynn Clark (2026), who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Madyson Crowe (2027) was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Ohio County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Todd County Central only posted a batting average of .176.

Ohio County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-16-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Todd County Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-13.
