Volleyball Recap: Pawnee Indians vs. Taylorville Tornadoes

Pawnee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Taylorville Tornadoes. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Tornadoes from their previous meeting back in October of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12.

Taylorville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brogan Anderson out in front who had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Anderson has posted since October 2nd. Another player making a difference was Robyn Ward, who had 11 kills and four blocks.

Pawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Taylorville, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 28-5.

Pawnee has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Mendon Unity on the 25th. As for Taylorville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Nokomis on the 25th.
