Union Pines entered their tilt with West Johnston on Thursday with 11 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 12. They blew past the Wildcats 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in August.

Union Pines not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept West Johnston between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-15.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Union Pines to victory, but perhaps none more so than Katie Burley, who had 14 digs, five aces, and two blocks. Those two blocks gave Burley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Allie Bauer, who had 23 assists and three digs.

Union Pines' win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for West Johnston, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.
