Jordan Henley leads a balanced attack to beat Hammond Morton

The Hammond Central Wolves can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 73-70 victory over Hammond Morton. The victory was just what Hammond Central needed coming off of a 68-47 defeat in their prior match.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hammond Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Henley, who scored 22 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Henley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Gregory Dotson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.

Hammond Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Hammond Morton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Hammond Central will take on Hammond Bishop Noll at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Hammond Bishop Noll's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matches. As for Hammond Morton, they will be playing at home against Michigan City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Michigan City has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 358 points over their last five games.
