Wethersfield dropped down to 6-4 on Wednesday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell 13-7 to the Newington Nor'easters. Having soared to a lofty 41 points in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Newington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.0 points over those games.

Josiah Sims was his usual excellent self, rushing for 267 yards and one score while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. He is becoming a predictor of Newington's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

As of now, neither Wethersfield nor the Nor'easters have any future games scheduled.
