Basketball Recap: Willamette Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Willamette Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 56-28 loss at the hands of the St. Paul Buckaroos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buckaroos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-13 back in January.

Willamette Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for St. Paul, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-11.

Looking ahead, Willamette Valley Christian will head out to square off against Jewell at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Paul, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Country Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in St. Paul's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
